It has been highlighted in the SECTOR MAIS’s Success Factors item that the Company commits itself with quality. It is a commitment that arises from the organisation model and from operational procedures.

But it also is a registered commitment to be recognised by the certification bodies.

QUALITY CERTIFICATION

SECTOR MAIS was the first Catering company to obtain the HACCP certificate awarded by Codex Alimentarius. (2005/2008).

SECTOR MAIS is presently certified with the ISO 9001: 2008 standard.

FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Food safety is SECTOR MAIS’s main concern in its quest to ascertain safe, healthy and tasty meals to all of its consumers.

Risk prevention and reduction starts with the preparation of menus, through raw material control at reception, follows the stowing procedures, the preparation and confection and ending with the distribution of meals.
